I just had to come by and say how much I absolutely miss Tigertown Veterinary Hospital as they give the best care I have ever experienced for me and my furry loved one. Today, I had to take Ringo to a new vet as I no longer live in AU in order to bring him to your clinic, and it was absolutely the worst vet visit I have experienced. The vet lacked the personal, caring attitude that I enjoyed so much from your clinic. I may have spoken to the vet for less then five minutes and did not see her for the rest of the time. I felt I was not given any time to even ask questions if it was necessary. Not only was the vet brief with their consultation, I sat in the assigned room for at least two hours staring at the wall. When they gave Ringo his vaccination, they took him into a separate room where I could not see him or even be there by his side during this new experience. This was the first for me. Ringo also had wounds from a dogfight incident a week ago which was the other concern I had taken him to the vet besides getting his boosters, and yet they did not even take the time to clean the wound that he had. If I hadn't reminded them that Ringo was also there for his vaccinations, they would have already rushed me out after handing me off some antibiotics and leaving Ringo's wounds as is. After all this, I receive my invoice which was completely outrageous, esp for the service I received which I felt was lacking in many different aspects. My boyfriend's dog, who just underwent surgery for an abscess and was given anesthesia along with all his vaccinations ended up costing as much as my vet visit. To me this was appalling. This single vet visit made me realize and truly appreciate those who are in the animal health field who do take that extra mile to not only connect with the owners but also allow the owner and their fuzzy friend feel welcome & part of a family and giving affordable yet amazing vet care that we feel our pets need. Thank you for doing that, and I would most definitely recommend Tigertown Veterinary Hospital to anyone for the best care possible for their furry friends.
